Lauren+Steve Wedding|| Revolution Hall Wedding Video || Troy NY Wedding ||

When I first met with Lauren to discuss the wedding, one of the things she mentioned was how the reception was most likely going to be super lively, and I can officially confirm that this was a correct prediction.

This couple and their guests brought an endless amount of fun energy to the reception, and it was smart of them to have all of the formalities at the very beginning of the reception so the rest of the evening could be spent rocking on the dance floor. In addition to the high-energy reception, there were also plenty of sentimental and impromptu funny moments sprinkled throughout the day. Unique parts of this day ranged from: Steve and the guests singing “Danny’s Song” as Lauren walked down the aisle with her father, Lauren’s and Steve’s emotional vows to one another, toasts using beer (Steve brews his own), and a packed dance floor pretty much throughout the entire night which was capped off by Lauren and Steve being tossed in the air by the guests.

I wish Lauren and Steve well and many more occasions of dancing the night away. I also think Lauren’s maid of honor, Alyssa, painted a nice and fitting picture of Lauren and Steve many years from now “sitting on a porch somewhere, sharing a fancy beer, remembering all of the good times”.

Katie+Jon Wedding || Canfield Casino Wedding Video || Saratoga Springs Wedding ||

It was a pleasure to join Katie, Jon, their wedding party, and their many nieces and nephews for their wedding in Saratoga Springs, NY. The day had a perfect blend of sentimental (example: Katie’s sister’s toast during the reception) and fun moments (example: the couple entering to The Right Stuff by New Kids on the Block). I also think it was really cool how they incorporated a custom Saratoga quarter pole into their wedding.

After being around them on their wedding day, Katie and Jon definitely seem like perfect matches for one another and wish them all the best as they continue on life’s journey as a married couple!

Krysten+Chris || Franklin Plaza Wedding Video || Troy Wedding ||

I enjoyed being around this nice and even keeled couple for the day. It was fun to learn more about Krysten and “Brew” in the toasts and see a touching photo compilation of them that their parents put together in conjunction with Mike from Music Man Entertainment. Not to mention, there was plenty of awesome dancing from the guests at their wedding!

Maria+Dave || The Vista at Van Patten Wedding Video || Short Wedding Film ||

So many great moments from this wedding: heartfelt vows, a song from the wedding party at the ceremony, a special first dance, and sparklers are always nice.

Based on being around them on their wedding day, I’d agree with what was said during the toasts, in that Maria and Dave are great complements to one another. From what I noticed, they share similar traits such as being calm, kind, and caring. One thing that they don’t have in common though is a passion for dance ;-). Maria grew up as a dancer her entire life, while like most guys, Dave didn’t, which makes the fact that he took lessons with Maria all the more admirable!

Becky+Jeff || The Sagamore Wedding Video || Short Wedding Film ||

This wedding day had many special moments throughout it: a flash mob performance at the reception, the father of the bride presenting a bottle of wine that was purchased the year Becky was born specifically with her wedding day in mind, and many, many, moments of silliness.

Lively. Funny. Zany. These are some of the words I’d use to describe Becky’s and Jeff’s wedding day at The Sagamore. I actually hadn’t met Becky in person before the wedding day, but from the instant that I met her and her bridal party, they made me and my second videographer, Brett, feel welcome and had us laughing just as quickly. I’d have to say that it’s difficult to recollect a bride with a more outgoing, friendly, and wonderfully silly personality as Becky.  It was truly a pleasure to be around her, Jeff, and their wedding party throughout the day.

I wish this couple well and am sure that they’ll continue to put all those around them in good spirits and have them laughing out loud.

Alison+Christine || Stone Tavern Farm Wedding Video || Short Wedding Film ||

This wedding took place on the beautiful countryside of the Stone Tavern Farm. I had been in touch with Alison through phone and e-mail conversations leading up to the wedding day. I got the sense that she and Christine had put a lot of time and preparation in the planning process, and it definitely showed on the their special day.

It started with the two brides getting ready at separate locations, and it was cool to see the different atmospheres and how they seemed to reflect each of the brides personalities. Alison got ready at a nice, peaceful, and relaxing bed and breakfast with her wedding party, while Christine’s getting ready process was filled with tons of energy (having young nieces and nephews there certainly helped in that regard).  A nice touch to the day was a pre-ceremony cocktail hour, where guests (many of whom I learned came from across the country as well as other countries) could mingle and enjoy good food and beverages before walking up the scenic hillside to witness the “I dos”.

Every reading at the ceremony was very fitting and the winner for the most memorable would probably go to Aunt Margaret’s emotional reading of Corinthians 13, and then her off-the-cuff speech about the specialness of Alison’s and Christine’s love. After the ceremony concluded, there were plenty of nice decorations all throughout the reception hall to get footage of. Just like all of the other portions of the day, the reception was filled with great energy that showed through on the packed dance floor, in the toasts, and oh yeah, the performance of Salt-N-Pepa’s “Shoop” by Christine and her sister.

It was fun to hear about the story of how Alison’s and Christine’s love came to be and I’d like to thank them for letting me and Hudson join them for the day. Speaking of Hudson, many thanks also go to him. He was my second shooter who helped me capture the day and got some very nice detail shots (some of which are featured in this short wedding film). It was also a pleasure to work with the other vendors throughout the day at this wonderful spring wedding.

Le’ana+Mark || Fasig Tipton Wedding Video || Short Wedding Film ||

There were so many great moments on this wedding day, and possibly the best in my opinion were the vows that Le’ana and Mark wrote to each other. Both vows were heartfelt and allowed me to get a glimpse of the special relationship that they share and why the two are so great for each other. I also have to say that Mark’s vows perfectly blended hilarity and endearingness at the same time, and made sure to include some of the best parts in this short wedding film.

I first met with Le’ana and a few of her friends for a bridal consultation about a year and a half before their wedding and was psyched when I heard that she and Mark were going to book me. It sounded like it’d be a truly special day at the Fasig Tipton in Saratoga Springs and it definitely lived up to expectations. In addition to those awesome vows, the ceremony and reception were filled with fitting readings and toasts, the first look at Congress Park was filled with sweet emotions, and it was just a great overall atmosphere with their family and friends rocking at the reception.

I wish this “strong-independent woman” and “strong-independent man” well on their on life together, and based on what I saw on their wedding day, these two will continue to push each other for the better and have a lot of fun in the process.

Kristin+Chris || Glen Sanders Mansion Wedding || Highlight Video ||

The day of this wedding was full of many fun and funny moments. What probably helped add to the festiveness of the day was that Kristin and Chris grew up in the same hometown, so many of the guests knew each other and the day kind of had a feel of a big family get together. In addition, the parents of the bride and groom have actually been best of friends long before Kristin and Chris even began dating.

Kristin and Chris really do complement each other nicely, and Chris put it best by saying before the first look that they can completely be themselves around each other. Possibly testament to how strong their bond is the fact that they can remain deeply in love even while Kristin roots for the Syracuse Orangemen and Chris for the Duke Blue Devils.

Laura+Ben || Hyannisport Club Wedding || Highlight Video ||

This is the highlight video from Laura’s and Ben’s wedding at the Hyannisport Club on Cape Cod. These high school sweethearts make a truly sweet and special couple, and I feel totally privileged having gotten to know them and having been their wedding videographer. To me, there’s a certain throwback Americana vibe to what they have, and feel that there were plenty of scenes from their wedding day that could have inspired a classic Norman Rockwell painting.

It was fun to spend the day around them and their family, and to see the similar character qualities amongst the kin. For example, as I was filming Ben and his younger brother, Dan, getting ready, they definitely seemed like two peas in a pod (one difference though is that Dan has a taller frame, which made it pretty entertaining when they inadvertantly put on each other’s suits).

I wish Laura and Ben well, and look forward to seeing them continue through life’s journey as loving companions.

Cape Cod Wedding || Chatham Bars Inn || Highlight Video ||

I had the pleasure of filming this lovely couple and their many family and friends that travelled from all around the world to this destination wedding on Cape Cod. It’s cool to know that these two have been using their video to show to family members across the globe that weren’t able to make it to Chatham.

It seems like each wedding I film has a special spark to it, and for this one, I was blown away at the number of eloquent toasts, speeches, and performances from the wedding day and rehearsal dinner.

These two seem like perfect complements to one another for all of the adventures they go on to far off lands. I’m sure they will continue to do great things and I wish them well.
